Introduction

A note-book-in-progress on learning Linux from the scratch. Suitable for beginners. Mostly written as quick notes while working with learners in one of myarrow-up-right workshops.

The goal is simple - to share my modest and acquired knowledge about the usage of linux and help people who are interested in learning/imporving their daily work by just using Linux instead of windows. I'm too a learner in progress hence, you find a bug? awesome! have more ideas to add in? great! want to contribute to take your words ahead? Fantastic! please read Contributions section below.

PS. No rivalry with windows or any other Operating Systems, It's just that after using all the popoular operatiing systems, I found Linux amazing for various reasons and there had been a time when I myself had faced difficulties in learning because of no easy tutorials to start with, were available at that time. All that is written in this book, I learned it while doing the real work from my colleages or by searching more, and I'm still a learner of this beautiful forest.
